Big Ice Trek

Let's see: sunshine? Check. Water? Check. Warm sand between your toes? Not so much. The Big Ice Trek from Hielo y Aventura will take you on a boating and walking tour of the Perito Moreno glacier, one of the few left on Earth that is actually growing in size. This seven-hour affair will see you board a boat, from which you can get amazing views of the the glacier's front wall, then strap on some crampons and head across the ice itself for a unique look at its features. You're responsible for your own lunch, so pack a good one, and don't forget some sunscreen — you might not be at the beach, but the reflection off the snow has burned more than a few cheeks.
