It may have changed ownership in the last couple of years, but fear not: Encore Records (previously known as Encore Recordings) still offers tons of reasons for music lovers to stop in. Likely tons in the literal sense, if the vast selection of new and used vinyl is any indication. The records are joined on the shelves by new and used CDs, DVDs, cassettes, books on music and musicians, sheet music, and the requisite and vast category of "music memorabilia". Bonus points for the seemingly random but always entertaining and intimate in-store performances.
