Come for the clothes, stay for the artwork. Aiming to be more than just a place to buy garments, The Aksel Project merges store and gallery with terrific results. The space is dominated by an oversized orange structure that runs the length of the store, with murals painted by British artist Saroj Patel dominating the opposite wall. As for the clothes, you'll find plenty of the brand's signature shirts as well as bespoke suiting and tops displayed stylishly in movable steamer trunks that can easily be hidden away to transform the spot into a full-on gallery. The store also serves a higher purpose — for each shirt it sells, a school uniform is given to a child in need, allowing them to attend classes where proper dress is required and helping them to get an education.
