Some bars have rules, but few stick to them as strictly as Angel's Share. This elegant East Village speakeasy is tucked inside a Japanese restaurant, does not allow standing, and will not seat a group larger than four. No exceptions. That said, once you're seated — a feat that may take some time, depending on the hour/day — you'll get to enjoy sublime cocktails made with the utmost care. And don't forget about the food, which is bar snack-sized but of very high quality, including sashimi, grilled vegetables, and Japanese sausage.
