Think water, not 18th century warfare. Cannonball is a new pool-themed bar and sushi joint in Mission Beach, offering some of the best views in the neighborhood. Perched on the second floor, it's an outdoor affair, complete with little pools, lounge chairs, a fire pit, and tiles lining the top of the railing, warning patrons to swim at their own risk and that the lifeguard is off-duty. As for the drinks, they're appropriately fruity/beach friendly, but even if you have no plans on eating, it's worth ordering up an Enfuego Roll just for the torch-seared salmon sitting on top.
