Opened last year in the same spot as former Tiki bar Thatch, Hale Pele approaches the theme with a reverence rarely seen, offering up a menu of 20 tropical drinks made using freshly-squeezed juices, top-shelf liquors, and locally-made B.G.Reynolds' Hand-Crafted Syrups, as well as a small selection of island-inspired small plates. With an interior featuring tiki statues, puffer fish, and similar decor, you know the place doesn't take itself too seriously, making it an ideal place to getaway from normal life for a while — which is exactly what a good tiki bar should be.
