Cleverly named after the neighborhood it calls home, Madam's Organ is an Adam's Morgan institution. This raucous, multi-level joint regularly features live music — normally blues and bluegrass — on the first floor, and multiple floors offering a mix of pool, karaoke, dancing, DJs, and even a rooftop patio. The booze is fairly priced and plentiful if not high-end, the crowd is rowdy but not overly douchebaggy, and the food is above average for a place of its ilk. If that's not enough for you, how about this tidbit: the building was once the original Children's Supermart, a little store that was later renamed Toys 'R' Us.
