Founded in 1880, it and the adjoining hotel have hosted such famous guests as Teddy Roosevelt, Calamity Jane, and Butch Cassidy over the years. 23 bullet holes can be found in the ceiling, as remnants from past altercations — but you have no reason to fear, as while they're still serving up strong drinks, the rowdiest folks you'll find inside in modern times are most likely there to watch the live music every Thursday and Saturday.
