You'd think with a name like that, you'd could expect stellar service at The Courtesy Bar. And you'd be right. This downtown watering hole recalls a bygone era with hand-crafted cocktails, an intimate interior that keeps the noise — and the headcount — down, and friendly service. The drink list is dominated by modern takes on classic recipes, but the Courtesy is also a full-service absinthe bar, and also serves house-made sodas, craft beers, and a small selection of wine. There's no food on offer, but luckily, there's more than enough places nearby to grab a bit should you get to feeling hungry.
