Whether you're warming up before (or after) catching a show at Cain's Ballroom or just looking for a solid place to spend an evening, Valkyrie should be on your itinerary. This new-ish downtown bar sports an industrial feel, an open floor plan, and chalkboards displaying their constantly-rotating menu of the best cocktails in town. Also on offer is a solid selection of craft beer on tap, and a reasonable wine list who prefer fermented grapes to spirits and hops. There's no kitchen, so you won't find any food available, but that's just fine with us — leaves more room for booze, anyways.
