Many hotels aim to be eco-friendly, but few take the idea as far as Conscious Hotel Museum Square. As one of the new-ish chain's two hotels — the other is in Vondelpark — this 36-room property is Green Key Gold Certified, with wooden furniture made from sustainable forest sources, Ionator-based cleaning that doesn't use any chemicals, a 100% organic breakfast, an on-site garden, bike rentals and easy access to public transport, energy-efficient lighting, and free Wi-Fi. Okay, so we're not sure what the latter has to do with the environment, but it's nice to have, regardless.
