Retro-futuristic architecture meets stunning views at Hotel Ještěd. Built in the mid- to late-Sixties and designed by Karel Hubáček, Ještěd Tower is a concrete hyperboloid over 300 feet tall, and is used to transmit television sigals from the top of Ještěd mountain. It's now home to a hotel, offering two suites, 12 premium double rooms, and eight standard double rooms, as well as a restaurant and bar. Nearby, you'll find a zoo, botanical garden, swimming pool, and the Museum of Glass and Artificial Jewelry, while wintertime visitors can enjoy both downhill and cross-country skiing. And should you feel like a day of slightly more cosmopolitan activities, Prague is only a one-hour car ride away.
