Don't let the name fool you — the only thing that's "inn" about this hotel is the name. The Inn at Palmetto Bluff is a Lowcountry estate of sorts, offering 50 cottages and cottage suites, as well as multiple village home rentals ranging from two to four bedrooms in size. The property is covered in Southern details, from the Spanish moss on the oak trees to the marshes, and is also home to an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus-designed May River Golf Club, two pools, a luxury spa, and the huge main building that resembles a timeless Southern mansion.
