Louisville is a place steeped in tradition, from the Derby to the surrounding bourbon distilleries. While it's located in Old Louisville, 610 Magnolia doesn't exactly conform to tradition. Serving up a seasonal menu that changes weekly, award-winning Chef Edward Lee does draw on classic Southern dishes, but then applies his advanced techniques and global palette to create stunning plate-bound artwork. Three- and four-course prix-fixe programs are available — both with wine pairings from the restaurant's impressive collection — but if you're interested, take note that 610 is only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, for one seating of 50 each night. In other words, you'll want to plan ahead.
