We like interesting restaurants, and if you couldn't tell from the name, Django qualifies. This unpretentious downtown spot specializes in French cuisine, yet it's famous for its burgers. Ground fresh and served on artisan South Union Bakery buns, they include the Burger Au Poivre — with swiss cheese and a brandy peppercorn sauce — and our favorite Le Royale with cheese, topped with white cheddar and a fried egg. Not digging the wine list? Bring your own — Django doesn't charge corkage fees.
