Luckily, we enjoy an overabundance of great Italian restaurants in this country — so for one to stand out, it has to do something, well, standout-ish. Like serve up a feast named "Leg of Beast". Which you will only find at Incanto. This Noe Valley restaurant is widely known for its delicious handmade pastas and bold use of offal, but the aforementioned dish is its true signature. Enough food to feed 6-8 — a one-week notice is required — it includes a salad, charcuterie plate, side dishes, dessert, and a braised beef shank with bone marrow. As if you needed more incentive, it offers something else fairly unique in the Bay Area — a wine list made up almost entirely of Italian wines.
