Masa Azul

The menu's not exactly long — we have a feeling that most regulars had it memorized by the third or fourth visit — but what it lacks in quantity it makes up for in quality. Masa Azul is a Logan Square establishment dealing in high-end Mexican cuisine, with a handful of tacos and other goodies on offer. The tortillas are made by hand, as are the cocktails, which are focused on tequila and mezcal-based drinks — the Tour de Mexico, with mezcal, tequila, sotol, and lemonade is particularly spectacular. Of course, there's also a huge variety of the aforementioned spirits available, as single shots or as one of several discovery flights.
