We're huge fans of Oskar Blues' beers here a Gallivant HQ, but did you know that the brewery got its start in a humble bar and grill? At Oskar Blues Grill & Brew, to be exact. This birthplace of Dale's Pale Ale opened in 1997, and is still serving up creole and cajun dishes alongside great burgers, slow-smoked barbecue and pizzas. Oh, and of course, beer, including both Oskar's core brews and batches of new stuff they're trying out. Best enjoyed with live music — so it's lucky there's an informal music room downstairs.
