Given its name and its proximity to the ocean, you'd expect Red Fish to offer up fresh seafood — but what you might be surprised at is the freshness of everything else. It runs its own garden and a farm nearby that supply produce that's used in the restaurant, sources other ingredients from local farmers, and uses natural or free range meats. Oh, and the wine should be plenty fresh too — there's a wine shop on site with over 1,000 bottles to choose from, which helped the Fish win Wine Spectator's "Best of Award of Excellence" and helps the chefs find just the right vintage to pair with their Lowcountry specialties.
