Cultivate Festival
As the name suggests, the Cultivate Festival — sponsored by the likes of Chipotle — was created to celebrate great food and the farmers who make it possible. Scheduled for this Saturday in Golden Gate Park, this free event will feature special Chipotle items created just for the festival — gorditas, anyone? — as well as food from the likes of El Porteño, Happy Girl Kitchen, Hodo Soy, Pop Nation, and more, appearances by the chefs behind Bottega, Rich Table, and Big Gay Ice Cream, music from The Walkmen, Matt Costa, Mayer Hawthorne, and others, and visits from the farmers behind the food. There will also be a kids zone, and anti-kids zone — otherwise known as the beer and wine tasting hall — and six experiences that, should you visit all of them, will award you with a free burrito, bowl, salad, or tacos from Chipotle.
