If you're going to be driving through the middle of nowhere, you might as well have something to look at. We're not really sure if that was the idea behind the Enchanted Highway, but it applies, anyway. This unique attraction is actually a collection of scrap metal sculptures — many among the world's largest — spread along a 32 mile stretch of unnumbered road in southwestern North Dakota. Perfect for photo opportunities, it's also a perfect excuse to visit some of flyover country you might not ever see otherwise.
