Punkin Chunkin World Championships

Getting tired of the annual proliferation of orange squash? Enjoy some cathartic release at the Punkin Chunkin World Championships. Held annually, this three-day event sees will see roughly 100 teams battle to see whose machine can launch their 8- to 10-pound pumpkins the farthest. There will also be a pageant and a pumpkin cooking competition, but not to worry, as there will also be a chili cookoff and plenty of vendors on-site offering normal food stuffs. The best part? A share of the proceeds is set aside for charities like St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, Autism Deleware, and Childhelp.
