Rice Krispie Treats are certainly tasty, but they also seem to be a little too simple to base an entire shop around. Or maybe not. The new Treat House on the Upper West Side specializes in marvelous upgrades on the classic childhood treat, offering everything from chocolate and PB variations to pink bubble gum and caramel sea salt versions. And while the treats are definitely the stars of the show, the spot also offers Stumptown coffee, ice cream bars, homemade marshmallows, and even breakfast bars. [via]
