What do you do when your hometown newspaper closes its doors? Turn it into a bar, of course. The Raleigh Times Bar is set in the offices of the former Raleigh Times newspaper, and as such offers a unique ambiance all its own. The beer list — which boasts over 50 Belgian beers — is impressive, as is the house-made bloody mary mix, which is mixed up in a drink that arrives alongside a 6 oz. draft PBR. As for the food, it's upscale bar fare, but more importantly is available until 2 a.m. to satisfy late-night cravings.
