Propeller Island City Lodge
Normally you'd be lucky if your hotel had just one or two rooms with a real personality — different from your average bed-nightstand-bed configuration. At the Propeller Island City Lodge, every room is its own work of art. Created by German artist Lars Stroschen, the rooms at this unique hotel are decidedly unorthodox, and include a room with a bed that's suspended from ropes, a padded, cell-like room, a room with coffins for beds, a room with beds on the floor, which looks like a ceiling, and furniture suspended from above, or, for the more adventurous, a room with two suspended cages and a separate bed for watching the action, and even one with a bed that's completely surrounded by mirrors. What you do in those latter two? Totally up to you.
