This smallish Nolita establishment specializes in chicken, eggplant, and meatball parmigiana sandwiches and platters, with the latter made in-house from veal, beef, and sweet Italian sausage. Nightly specials offer diners a more upscale option, but if you want to experience Parm the right way, you want one of the sandwiches that arrives in a red plastic basket, served up by a chef with a white paper hat. Like we said — simple, but good.
