Plenty of festivals claim to offer all-night parties, but it's hard to argue with one that has the help of the midnight sun on its side. Heading into its 35th year, the Dawson City Music Festival is as much about exploring the history of the gold rush town as it is about headlining acts, with the main stage housed in a tent not far from the Yukon city's museum. Hotels are at a premium during the three day festival — held this year on July 19-21 — but there's plenty of camping available nearby, and lots of food vendors setup during the shows. With shows that go on well into the next day, it's a unique way to get away and enjoy some live music at the same time.
