This Brooklyn institution was started in 1924 by Antonio "Totonno" Pero, the guy otherwise known for being the employee who first started selling tomato pies made in a coal-fired brick oven at Lombardi's in 1905. Oh, and plan on staying a while — unlike some other establishments, they only serve pizza by the pie.
